But chances are, you are doing this for the first time - and even more likely: the only time. You have too many questions, a big chunk of your financial underpinnings are at risk, you have no idea how any of this works, and most of all you would like to know:

There will be two simple and major steps to make it all happen: 1) Design and 2) Construction. But before you begin, you need to get up to speed.
First up: Get all the information you need to make an informed decision whether this is for you. Can you afford this kind of modern, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind, energy-efficient home? How long does it take? Can I get what I am yearning for? Does this fit into my life at this moment in time?

In our case we prompt you to have a video call with Toby. We go over your questionnaire and fill in the picture as needed.
At this point you should have a good understanding of what you are getting yourself into.
Next: Purchase a property. Without a lot at hand the design cannot start. Your home will have to organically repsond to the topography, views, concerns of privacy, the direction of the sun, and much more.

Diagnosis
Our Design Goal Review is typically a two-week process, in which we engage with you to set the goal posts for your project. Among other things we have a site visit, share a Pinterest board for a precedent study, set up a project brief, define the program, analyze the site, set up a budget breakdown, offer a suggested timeline, and discuss consultants to bring on board.
Now you are in the driver’s seat. You should have the full picture laid out in detail. You know what you are getting yourself into and what to expect. It will now be up to you to dive into the design process or walk away free and clear.
Proposal
Since we now know what we are doing, we will provide you with a Design Proposal. We usually provide you with several options, different packages that spell out our fees and service offerings, for you to pick and choose from.
